Sensor voor het signaleren
van de afstand tot de
voorligger (radar voor)
De sensor is bedoeld om een
bepaalde afstand tot de voorligger te
bewaren. Verontreinigingen zoals
sneeuw en water op de sensorlens
hebben echter een negatief effect op
de sensorprestaties. Hierdoor kan
de AEB zelfs tijdelijk uitgeschakeld
worden. Houd de sensorlens altijd
schoon.
Waarschuwingsmelding en
waarschuwingslampje
Als de behuizing of de lens van de
sensor verontreinigd is met sneeuw
of water, kan de werking van de
AEB tijdelijk worden onderbroken.
In dat geval wordt de bestuurder
gewaarschuwd door een waar-
schuwingsmelding. Dit duidt niet op
een storing in de AEB. Verwijder de
verontreiniging, zodat de AEB weer
werkt.
• Monteer geen accessoires, zoals
een kentekenplaathouder of
sticker in de buurt van de sensor.
Vervang ook niet zelf
de bumper. Deze handelingen
kunnen de prestaties van de
sensor negatief beïnvloeden.
• Houd het sensor/bumper-
gedeelte altijd schoon.
• Gebruik alleen zachte doeken
voor het wassen van de auto.
Spuit ook geen water onder hoge
druk op de sensor in de bumper.
• Oefen geen onnodige kracht uit
op het sensorgedeelte aan de
voorzijde. Als de sensor door
externe krachten niet meer in de
juiste positie staat, werkt het
systeem mogelijk niet goed
meer, ook al wordt dat
niet aangegeven door een
waarschuwingslampje of een
melding. In dat geval adviseren
we u de auto te laten controleren
door een officiële HYUNDAI-
dealer.
