Handige voorzieningen in uw auto

3.Ga naar de voorzijde van de auto
en til de motorkap iets op. Duw
tegen de veiligheidshaak (1) in het
midden van de motorkap en trek
de motorkap omhoog (2).
4.Neem de motorkapsteun los.
5.Ondersteun de motorkap met de
steun (3).
Motorkap sluiten
1.Controleer de volgende punten
alvorens de motorkap te sluiten :
• Of alle vuldoppen in de
motorruimte correct zijn
teruggeplaatst.
• Of er geen handschoenen,
doeken of andere brandbare
materialen in de motorruimte zijn
achtergebleven.
2.Zet de steun vast in de clip om te
voorkomen dat hij gaat rammelen.
3.Laat de motorkap zakken (tot
ongeveer 30 cm boven zijn
gesloten positie) en druk hem
stevig in het slot. Controleer altijd
nogmaals of de motorkap goed is
vergrendeld.
Als de motorkap iets kan worden
opgetild, is hij niet goed
vergrendeld. Open hem nogmaals
en sluit hem met meer kracht.

•Pak de steun altijd vast bij het
deel dat omwikkeld is met
rubber. Het rubber voorkomt
dat u zich brandt aan het hete
metaal.
•De steun moet goed in de
opening geplaatst worden als
u controles in de motorruimte
uitvoert. Dit voorkomt dat de
motorkap plotseling naar
beneden kan vallen en letsel
veroorzaakt.
