Rijden in het buitenland

Als u van plan bent om met uw auto

naar het buitenland te gaan:

• Zorg ervoor dat uw auto voldoet

aan de in dat land geldende wet-

telijke voorschriften met betrekking

tot registratie en verzekering.

• Informeer of de juiste brandstof

verkrijgbaar is.

U hoeft de auto niet gedurende een

bepaalde periode in te rijden. U kunt

echter door het opvolgen van een

paar eenvoudige aanwijzingen gedu-

rende de eerste 1.000 km de presta-

ties, het brandstofverbruik en de lev-

ensduur van uw auto in positieve zin

beïnvloeden.

• Voer het toerental van de motor

niet te hoog op.

• Houd tijdens het rijden het motor-

toerental tussen de 2.000 - 4.000

omw/min.

• Rijd niet gedurende langere tijd

met een constante snelheid. Om

de motor goed in te rijden, moet

het motortoerental worden geva-

rieerd.

• Vermijd plotseling afremmen, be-

halve in noodgevallen, om de

onderdelen van het remsysteem

de gelegenheid te geven op elkaar

in te lopen.

• Trek gedurende de eerste 2.000

km met uw auto geen aanhanger.
