Switching off
Set the on/off switch to position ‘I’ and let it run
for a few minutes.
Then set the on/off switch to position ‘0’.
Let the tool cool down before moving or
storing it.
Immediately switch off the appliance when
Plug and/or cable are defective or damaged.
The switch is defective.
You smell or see smoke caused by scorched
insulation from the hot air gun.
When the temperature is excess
600° C, the heats switches it off
automatically, however, the heater
continues to run. When the heater has
cooled to operating temperature, the
heater is switched on again.
Use of accessories (fig. B)
Fishtail nozzle (6)
Deflects air away from glass for
example when stripping paint in
window frames or softening putty.
Reduction nozzle (7)
Distributes air equally over small
areas.
Stationary use
This tool can also be used in stationary mode.
Unfold the hang hook and place the tool onto
the workbench.
Secure the cable to prevent pulling the tool off
the workbench.
Carefully switch the tool on.
Make sure that the nozzle always
points away from you and any
bystanders. Make sure not to drop
anything into the nozzle.
Troubleshooting
In case the hot air gun does not work well, we
give you subjoined some possible causes and
their solutions.
The engine gets overheated
The ventilation slots of the hot air gun are dirty.
Clean the ventilation slots.

Your hot-air gun has been designed for the
following operations:
- removing paint and paint residues from wood,
metal and synthetics;
- removing self-adhesive labels;
- applying PVC labels;
- moulding low-temperature materials, including
acrylics and perspex;
- melting together synthetics, including materials
and foils with a PVC layer;
- shrinktubing;
- heating pipe attachments and bowing pipes;
- repairing skis, surf boards and similar sporting
equipment.

Instructions for use
Aim the mouthpiece of the machine at the
workpiece.
Heat the material a few seconds before
working it.
If required set a higher or lower level
temperature by opening or closing the
ventilation opening.
For optimum result it is recommended to test
the machine first on a small part of the
workpiece.
Switching on (fig. A)
The tool can be switched on to two different
temperature settings.
To switch the machine on to the low setting,
set the on/off switch (1) to ‘I’.
To switch the machine on to the high setting,
set the on/off switch to ‘II’.
Some smoke may be emitted after switching
on; this does not indicate a problem.
