Guarantee and service
Replacing the saw blade (g. B)
Only use sharp and undamaged saw blades.
Cracked or bent saw blades must be replaced
immediately.
Before replacing the saw blade always
unplug the tool. Do not use saw blades
made of HSS steel. Make sure that the
spindle diameter Corresponds to the
bore diameter.
Sharp saw blades produce the best
result. Replace worn saw blades on
time by new ones. Remember that
continuous use of worn saw blades
reduces the accuracy of the machine
and may lead to overloading the motor.
Push the spindle lock button (12) in the
direction of the motor and unscrew the locking
screw (13) counterclockwise.
Remove the flange (14).
Raise the saw blade guard (15) with the lever
(16) and remove the saw blade.
Clean the flange and place the saw blade on
the shaft.
Make sure the teeth and the arrow on
the saw blade point in the same
direction as the arrow on the saw blade
guard (15).
Reinstall the flange (14) and tighten the
locking screw (13).
Make sure that the saw blade runs freely by
turning the blade by hand.
Adjusting the depth of cut (g. C)
The depth of cut is innitely adjustable. A clean
cut is achieved with the saw blade protruding from
the material by approx. 3 mm.
Loosen the adjusting screw (10).
Set the required depth of cut according to the
scale (11).
Tighten the adjusting screw.
Adjusting the mitre angle (g. D)
The mitre angle is innitely variable between
0° and 45°.
Loosen the adjusting screws (8).
Set the required mitre angle using the scale (9).
Tighten the adjusting screws.
Mounting the parallel guide (g. E)
The parallel guide allows sawing parallel to an
edge at a maximum distance of 10 cm.
Loosen the adjusting screw (18).
Insert the parallel guide (19) into the saw base
(5) as shown in the illustration.
Set the parallel guide to the required distance.
Tighten the adjusting screw.
Instructions for use
Clamp the workpiece. Make sure that the side
which will be visible later is facing down,
because the cut is most accurate at that side.
Switch on the machine before it touches the
workpiece. Do not exert pressure on the saw
blade. Allow the machine enough time to cut
the workpiece.
Hold the machine with both hands using both
grips. This ensures optimum control over the
machine.
Switching on and off (g. F)
To switch the tool on, keep the lock-off button
(2) depressed and press the on/off switch (1).
To switch the tool off, release the on/off
switch (1).
Using the laser (g. G)
The laser beam is used for projection of the cut on
the workpiece.
Switch the laser (7) on by means of the on/off
switch (6).
Place the machine on the workpiece with the
saw marking above the start of the cutting line.
Check that the laser line aligns with the cutting
line as marked on the workpiece.
Switch on the machine.
Follow the “Instructions for use” to perform a
cut.
After use, switch off the laser.
Dust extraction (g. A1)
The dust extraction outlet together with an
external vacuum cleaner takes care of the dust
extraction of the working surface.
If necessary, connect an adapter to the
connection (4).
Connect a vacuum cleaner to the machine.
Lubrication
From time to time, apply a drop of oil to the
thread of the locking screw (15).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require any special main-
tenance.
Regularly clean the ventilation slots.
If necessary clean the laser lens using a
cotton bud soaked in alcohol. Do not use any
other cleansing agents.
Replacing the batteries (g. H)
Suitable batteries are of size AAA.
Remove the cover from the battery
compartment (19).
Remove the old batteries.
Place the new batteries as indicated.
Replace the cover.
Always replace the complete set of
batteries. Do not mix old batteries with
new ones.
