Storage
Keep your tiller stored in a dry area. To avoid the formation
of gum deposits in the fuel system it should be drained if the
machine is not to be used for 30 days or longer.
a. Drain fuel tank, run engine until gasoline in carburetor is
used.
b. While engine is still warm, drain oil from engine. Refill
with fresh oil (fig. 13).
c. Remove spark plug, pour one half ounce of clean engine
oil into cylinder. Pull starter handle slowly several times
to distribute oil. Replace spark plug.
d. Clean entire tiller, especially cylinder fins, blower hous ing
and air screen. Tighten all bolts and nuts.
Gasoline stored for several months will lose it's volatility (ability
to burn effectively); therefore, always use up gas o line at the
end of the season.
WARNING!
Do not store, spill or use gasoline near an open flame or de-
vices such as a stove, furnace or water heater which utilize
a pilot light, or devices that can create a spark.

Die Bodenfräse ist trocken aufzubeqahren. Um Gummia-
blagerungen im Draftstoffsystem zu vermeiden, solte das
System dräniert werden, wenn die Fräse für einen Zeitraum
von 30 Tagen oder länger nicht benutzt wird.
a. Kraftsstofftank dränieren, Motor laufen lassen, bis das
Benzin im Vergaser verbraucht ist.
b. Während der Motor noch warm ist, ist das Motoröl zu
dränieren. Neues Öl auffüllen (Abb. 13).
c. Zündkerze entfernen, ca. 1,5 cl sauberes Motoröl in den
Zylinder gießen. Langsam mehrmals den Starthandgriff,
um das Öl zu verteilen. Zündkerze wieder montieren.
d. Die bodenfräse vollständing reinigen, besonders Zylinder-
rippen, Gebläsegehäse und Luftgitter. Sämtliche bolzen
und Muttern festziehen.
Kraftstoff, der über mehrere Monate gelagert wird, verliert
seine Verdampfungsfähigkeit (Fähigkeit feffektiv zu verbren-
nen). Aus diesem Grunde muß der Kraftstoff immer am Ende
der Salson verbraucht werden.
WARNUNG!
Kraftstoff darf in der Nähe offener Feuerstellen, Öfen, Feuer-
ungsanlagen oder Wassererhitzer, die mit einer Pilotflamme
versehen sind oder die einen Funken erzeugen können, nicht
gelagert, verschüttet oder angewendet werden.
