To Adjust Belt Tension
1. To adjust spring tension, loosen nut (A) with a 1/2" wrench
or socket, move the tension adjustment bracket (B) to
position 2 or 3 (fig. 1).
NOTE: With the mower in low cut position, if the spring length
(C) is less than 9 1/4", repeat step 1-2 in the next higher posi-
tion and remeasure. If the spring length is more than 9 1/4",
repeat steps 1-2 in the next lower position and remeasure.
2. Tighten nut (A) to 15-20 ft/lbs.
So stellen Sie die Riemenspannung ein
1. Um die Federspannung einzustellen, lösen Sie Mut-

Steckschlüssel mit 1/2". Bringen Sie dann den Halter zum

erneut. Wenn die Federlänge mehr als 9 1/4" beträgt, wieder-
holen Sie die Schritte 1–2 in der nächstniedrigeren Position
und messen erneut.
2. Ziehen Sie Mutter (A) mit einem Anzugsmoment von
15–20 ft/lbs an.

1. Pour régler la tension du ressort, desserrez l'écrou (A)
à l'aide d'une clé ou douille 1/2" et placez le support de

REMARQUE : Lorsque la tondeuse est dans une position de
coupe basse, si la longueur du ressort (C) est inférieure à 9
1/4", répétez les étapes 1-2 dans la position immédiatement
supérieure, puis mesurez à nouveau. Si la longueur du res-
sort est supérieure à 9 1/4", répétez les étapes 1-2 dans la
position immédiatement inférieure, puis mesurez à nouveau.
2. Serrez l'écrou (A) à 15-20 ft/lbs.
Ajuste de la tensión de la correa
1. Para ajustar la tensión del muelle, afloje la tuerca (A) con
una llave o un vaso de 1/2" y mueva el soporte de ajuste
de tensión (B) a la posición 2 o 3 (fig. 1).
NOTA: Sitúe el cortacésped en una posición de corte baja y
mida el muelle (C). Si su longitud es inferior a 9 1/4", repita
los pasos 1 y 2 en la siguiente posición más alta y vuelva a
medir. Si la longitud del muelle es superior a 9 1/4", repita
los pasos 1 y 2 en la siguiente posición más baja respecto a
la inicial y vuelva a medir.
2. Apriete la tuerca (A) a 15-20 pies/lb.

1. Per regolare la tensione della molla, allentare il dado (A)
con una chiave da 1/2" o una chiave a bussola, spostare
la staffa di regolazione della tensione (B) in posizione 2 o
3 (fig. 1).
NOTA: con il rasaerba in posizione di taglio basso, se la
lunghezza della molla (C) è inferiore a 9 1/4", ripetere il
punto 1-2 nella successiva posizione superiore e ripetere
la misurazione. Se la lunghezza della molla è superiore a 9
1/4", ripetere i punti 1-2 nella posizione inferiore successiva
e ripetere la misurazione.
2. Serrare il dado (A) a una coppia di 15-20 ft/lb.

1. Om de spanning van de veer af te stellen, draait u de
moer (A) los met een 1/2"-sleutel of -dopsleutel en zet u
de steun (B) voor het afstellen van de spanning in stand
2 of 3 (afb. 1).
OPMERKING: Als de maaier in de lage maaistand staat en
de veerlengte (C) minder is dan 9 1/4", herhaalt u stap 1-2
in de volgende hogere stand en meet u opnieuw. Als de
veerlengte meer is dan 9 1/4", herhaalt u stap 1-2 in de
volgende lagere stand en meet u opnieuw.
2. Haal de moer (A) aan met een aanhaalmoment van 15-20
ft/lbs.
