Starten und stoppen
Kalter Motor
Starten: Die Kettenbremse muss eingeschaltet sein,
wenn die Motorsäge gestartet wird. Die Bremse
aktivieren, indem der Handschutz nach vorn geführt wird.
Kraftstoffpumpe: Mehrmals auf die Gummiblase der
Kraftstoffpumpe drücken, bis diese sich mit Kraftstoff zu
füllen beginnt. Die Blase braucht nicht ganz gefüllt zu
werden.
Zündung: Den Stoppschalter in Startposition stellen.
Choke: Den Chokehebel in Choke-Lage führen.
Warmer Motor
Startvorgang wie bei kaltem Motor, ohne den Choker in
Choke-Lage zu führen.
Starten
Den vorderen Griff mit der linken Hand umfassen. Mit
dem rechten Fuß in den hinteren Griff treten und die
Motorsäge gegen den Boden drücken. Den Startgriff mit
der rechten Hand fassen und das Startseil bis zum ersten
Widerstand (die Starterklinken rasten ein) langsam
herausziehen, danach das Seil schnell und kraftvoll
herausziehen.
Das Startseil niemals um die Hand
wickeln.
ACHTUNG! Das Startseil nicht ganz herausziehen und
den Startgriff aus ganz herausgezogener Lage nicht
loslassen. Schäden am Gerät könnten die Folge sein.
Sobald das typische Zündgeräusch des Motors zu
vernehmen ist, den Chokehebel einschieben. Weitere
Startversuche machen, bis der Motor anspringt. Wenn

WARNUNG! Vor dem Start ist Folgendes
zu beachten:
Beim Starten der Motorsäge muss die
Kettenbremse eingeschaltet sein, um die
Gefahr eines Kontakts mit der
rotierenden Kette zu verhindern.
Die Motorsäge nicht starten, ohne dass
Schiene, Kette und sämtliche
Abdeckungen montiert sind. Andernfalls
kann sich die Kupplung lösen und
Verletzungen verursachen.
Das Gerät auf einen festen Untergrund
stellen. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass Sie fest
und sicher stehen, und dass die Kette
nicht mit einem Gegenstand in
Berührung kommen kann.
Falls Sie die Kettensäge im Baum starten
müssen, beachten Sie die Hinweise unter
der Überschrift „Starten der Säge im
Baum“ im Abschnitt „Arbeitstechniken“.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass sich im
Arbeitsbereich keine Unbefugten
aufhalten.
