Arranque e paragem
Motor frio
Arranque: O travão da corrente deve estar activado no
arranque da moto-serra. Active o travão levando a
protecção contra o retrocesso para a frente.
Bomba de combustível: Premir a bolha de borracha da
bomba de combustível repetidas vezes, até que o
combustível comece a encher a bolha. Não é necessário
encher a bolha completamente.
Ignição: Leve o contacto de paragem à posição de
arranque.
Estrangulador: Ponha o comando na posição de
estrangular.
Motor quente
Use o mesmo procedimento de arranque para motor frio
mas sem por o estrangulador na posição de estrangular.
Arranque
Segure no punho dianteiro com a mão esquerda.
Mantenha a motosserra no chão colocando o pé direito
através do punho traseiro. Agarre na pega do arranque e
puxe devagar a corda de arranque com a mão direita até
encontrar resistência (os prendedores do arranque
actuam) e a partir de então dê puxões rápidos e fortes.
Nunca enrole a corda de arranque na mão.
NOTA! Não puxe inteiramente a corda de arranque nem
solte a pega do arranque se estiver em posição
totalmente distendida. Esta prática pode danificar a
máquina.
Empurre o controlo do estrangulador para baixo logo que
o motor dispare, o que pode ser detectado ouvindo um
!
ATENÇÃO! Antes de arrancar, observe o
seguinte:
O travão da corrente deve estar aplicado
quando se dá o arranque à motosserra,
para evitar o perigo de contacto com a
corrente em rotação durante o arranque.
Não arranque a moto-serra sem que a
lâmina, a corrente da serra e todas as
coberturas estejam montadas. A
embraiagem pode soltar-se e causar
acidentes pessoais.
Coloque a máquina sobre uma superfície
firme. Certifique-se de que está numa
posição estável e que a corrente não
entra em contacto com nenhum objecto.
Se precisar de ligar uma serra numa
árvore, consulte as instruções na secção
Iniciar a serra na árvore, na parte
Técnicas de trabalho.
Certifique-se de que nenhuma pessoa
estranha se encontra na zona de
trabalho.
