1 Introduction
The Automower® Connect accessory must be
installed by a dealer. The installation includes a
software update of the robotic lawnmower.
2 Installation
2.1 Download the
Automower
®
Connect app
Download the Automower
®
Connect app from
App Store or Google Play.
2.2 Create an
Automower
®
Connect
account
Once you have downloaded the app, you can
specify a valid e-mail address and a password
to create an Automower
®
Connect account.
You will receive a validation e-mail to the
e-mail address you specifi ed. Follow the
instructions in the e-mail within 24 hours to
validate your account. If not validated within
24 hours, you will have to create your account
again.
2.3 Pair the
Automower
®
with
the account
The robotic lawnmower can be paired with the
account when the account has been created
in the app.
1. Start the app on your smartphone and
log in to your account.
2. Choose Menu > My mowers.
3. Add a new robotic lawnmower by
pressing + and follow the instructions in
the app.
4. Select Accessories > Automower
Connect (mower PIN required) > Pairing
> New pairing in the menu of the robotic
lawnmower. When the app prompts you
to do so, enter the 6-digit code shown on
the display of the robotic lawnmower.
2.4 Activate GeoFence origin
Before GeoFence can be used, its center point
(origin) and sensitivity must be set. This can
only be done from the menu in the robotic
lawnmower.
1. Place the robotic lawnmower centrally in
the garden.
2. Select Accessories > Automower Con-
nect (mower PIN required) > GeoFence.
3. Select Activate GeoFence and press OK.
4. Select New center point to set the origin
for GeoFence.
GeoFence sensitivity can be changed to suit
your garden. Sensitivity can be set to Low,
Medium or High. The higher the sensitivity, the
easier the alarm is activated. If the alarm is
activated too easily, for example if a false
alarm is given inside the garden, you should
select a lower setting for the GeoFence sensi-
tivity.
When putting the robotic lawnmower into sto-
rage for a long period, such as during the win-
ter, Husqvarna recommends to turn off the
main switch to save battery power. With the
GeoFence function activated, you will need a
PIN code in order to turn off the robotic lawn-
mower. Once the main switch has been turned
off, the Automower
®
Connect stays active for
12 hours. After that it is not possible to
communicate with the robotic lawnmower and
the GeoFence function is not active.
2.5 Status icons
With Automower® Connect activated, new icons
are displayed on the idling screen of the robotic
lawnmower.
The bars show the signal strength of
the GPRS reception.
An X next to the bars indicates a pro-
blem with the connection to the Internet
server.
The SIM symbol indicates that there is
a problem with the SIM card or the
module.
