Changing the flash duration
(lisa ISDN transmitter only!)
When new, all units are set so each
lisa receiver flashes for 28 seconds.
However, you can reduce this time
to 8 seconds.
Procedure
Disconnect the mains lead of the
transmitter from the power socket
and reconnect it whilst holding the
pager button pressed. This sets the
flash duration to 8 seconds. If you
want to restore the flash duration to
28 seconds, simply disconnect and
reconnect the mains lead of the
transmitter to the wall socket (this
time without pressing the pager
button).
Connecting the ISDN transmitter
The ISDN transmitter has two ISDN
sockets. These sockets are connec-
ted in parallel inside the unit. This
makes it very simple to connect to
ISDN terminal units.
Procedure
Remove the ISDN connection cable
from your ISDN terminal unit (e.g.
telephone) and connect it to the
back of the ISDN transmitter. Using
the supplied ISDN cable, connect
the ISDN transmitter to your ISDN
terminal unit (e.g. telephone).
Delivery condition
No phone numbers (MSNs) are
stored in the ISDN transmitter
when it is new. The "P" LED flashes
to indicate that the unit is not pro-
grammed.
Unprogrammed status
The LED marked "P" flashes. Every
incoming phone call, irrespective of
which phone number (MSN) is dial-
led, triggers a transmit signal.
The LED marked "1" is displayed on
the ISDN transmitter for each phone
call.
Programming the ISDN trans-
mitter
The ISDN transmitter incorporates
innovative technology which makes
programming much easier. Simply
use another phone or mobile phone
to call the ISDN terminal unit which
you want to monitor with the ISDN
transmitter.
The ISDN transmitter has three
memory slots which can be used for
monitoring three different phone
numbers (MSNs).
