Brake adjustment
Loosen locking nut; adjust brake by loosening/
tightening the adjustment casing. After
adjustment tighten locking nut.
Note! Continuous braking leads to excessive
wear of wheels and brakes.
Note! The brakes consists of one brake handle for each wheel, where the right brake handle
affects the right wheel, and the left brake handle affects the left wheel. The brake handle pulls
a wire that runs in a wire housing. The wire pulls a brake gear that affects the wheel. When a
single hand brake is used, one brake handle affects both wheels.
Brake
Pull brake lever up to brake whilst travelling.
Parking brake
Push brake lever down to brake when
stationary.
Important! Engage parking brake before
sitting.

On assembly of the wingnut component,
it is important that the base of the screw
head engages fully the groove in the
recess.
Adjustment of handles
Loosen wing nuts and adjust the handles
to wrist height. Tighten the wing nuts.
Sideways angle of the handles : 3° inwards.
Important! The
handles must not be
heightened above
the”MAX” mark
on the sides of the
handle pipes. The
handles must be
pointing straight forward. The handle pipe
numbers must be aligned with the slit at
the side of the pipes to avoid unstableness
and dangerous situations
Warning! The handles must not be
pointing outwards because of increased
tip risk.
