Configuring silent mode

Enable silent mode to avoid disturbing others in quiet surroundings, such as when you are in a

meeting. Once enabled, your phone will not ring when you receive an incoming call or message,

but the screen will still turn on. If you have enabled vibrations, your phone will vibrate to alert you

of incoming calls and messages.

1 Open Settings.

message, but the screen will still turn on.

ibrate in silent mode: When Silent mode is enabled and Vibrate in silent mode is

switched on, your phone will vibrate when you receive an incoming call or message.

l Quickly change the mute settings: Swipe down from the status bar and open the

shortcuts tab. Touch

to switch between Sound, Silent, and V

ibration mode.

Setting the default notification tone

Choose a preset ringtone or a music file as the notification tone for messages, emails, and other

notifications.

1 Open Settings.

2 Touch Sound > Default notification tone and choose a new notification Ringtone or a

Music file.

Configuring dialpad touch tones

1 Open Settings.

ouch Sound > Dialer touch tones and select Default, Melody or None.

Enabling or disabling system alert sounds and haptic feedback

Settings.

ouch Sound. You can enable or disable Touch sounds, Screen lock sound, Screenshot

tone, and Vibrate on touch.

When V

ibrate on touch is enabled, your phone will vibrate when you touch a key on the

navigation bar or unlock the screen.

Question a) Text messages will not transmit when a photo is attached. Why? I cannot find a setting in any sub menu which is necessay. What is the problem solution please.

Question b) When using HiSuite 5.0.2.301_OVE software on my laptop I cannot select individual photos or files to up load into my laptop. I can only up load ALL photos on my 'phone!!! This is hundreds of photos which I don't want and it does it everytime so I end up with multiple copies!!! What is the solution please? When I use the IMPORT function I should be able to select only those photos that I wish to import. NOT all of them.
