44 Synchroniser les informations et configurer la sécurité du courrier électronique
3.1 À propos d’ActiveSync
ActiveSync synchronise les informations sur votre téléphone avec les
informations sur votre ordinateur, telles que le contenu d’Outlook. ActiveSync
peut également synchroniser sur un réseau sans fil ou cellulaire avec Exchange
Server, si votre société ou opérateur exécute Exchange Server avec Exchange
ActiveSync.
Plus particulièrement, vous pouvez utiliser ActiveSync pour :
•
Synchroniser les informations, telles que le courrier Outlook, les
contacts, le calendrier ou les tâches sur votre téléphone avec votre
ordinateur, ainsi que les images, la vidéo ou la musique.
•
Synchroniser le courrier Outlook, les contacts, les rendez-vous du
calendrier et les tâches sur votre téléphone directement avec Exchange
Server pour pouvoir rester à jour même lorsque votre ordinateur est
éteint.
•
Copier les fi chiers entre votre téléphone et votre ordinateur.
•
Sélectionner les types d’informations qui sont synchronisées et
spécifi er la quantité d’informations synchronisées. Par exemple, vous
pouvez choisir le nombre de semaines de rendez-vous passés du
calendrier à synchroniser.

Ajouter et supprimer des programmes sur votre téléphone. Pour des
détails, voir le Chapitre 4, « Ajouter et supprimer les programmes ».
3.2 Configurer ActiveSync
Pour installer et confi gurer ActiveSync sur l’ordinateur
1.
Installez ActiveSync sur votre ordinateur, comme décrit sur le disque
Mise en route Windows Mobile®.
2.
Après la fi n de la confi guration, l’Assistant Installation de la
synchronisation démarre automatiquement lorsque vous connectez
votre téléphone à l’ordinateur. L’assistant vous guidera pour créer
une relation de synchronisation entre votre téléphone et l’ordinateur.
