Bijlage A: Omgaan met batterijen 151
z Schakel de camera zo min mogelijk in en uit. Als u denkt
dat u meer dan één foto per vijf minuten gaat nemen, is het
beter om de camera aan te laten staan (met het LCD-scherm
uitgeschakeld) dan na elke opname uit te zetten. Hierdoor
hoeft de lens minder vaak naar binnen en naar buiten te
bewegen.
z Gebruik de optionele netvoedingsadapter van HP of het
HP Photosmart M-series-basisstation wanneer de camera
gedurende langere tijd aan staat, zoals bij het afdrukken
van foto's of het overbrengen van foto's naar de computer.
Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij het
gebruik van NiMH-batterijen
z Laad alleen NiMH-batterijen in de camera, het
HP Photosmart M-series-basistation of de HP Photosmart-
snellader.
z Plaats de NiMH-batterij niet in de buurt van vuurhaarden
en voorkom dat de batterij heet wordt.
z Verbindt de positieve en negatieve polen van de NiMH-
batterij niet aan elkaar met metalen voorwerpen (zoals
een draad).
z Zorg ervoor dat de NiMH-batterij niet in aanraking komt
met metalen voorwerpen zoals muntgeld, kettingen,
haarklemmetjes en andere metalen voorwerpen. Vooral het
in contact brengen van een NiMH-batterij met een munt kan
gevaarlijk voor u zijn! U voorkomt dergelijke situaties door
de batterij bijvoorbeeld niet samen met muntgeld te bewaren.
z Doorboor de batterij niet met spijkers, sla niet met een
hamer op de batterij, ga niet op de batterij staan en zorg
ervoor dat er geen grote druk op de batterij wordt
uitgeoefend.
