6 Retire el módulo DIMM de la bolsa antiestática. La manera correcta
de sujetar el módulo DIMM consiste en poner los pulgares contra el
borde posterior del módulo y los otros dedos contra los lados.
Alinee las muescas del módulo DIMM con la ranura de éste.
(Compruebe que las pestañas de cada lado de la ranura del
módulo DIMM están abiertas u orientadas hacia fuera.)
7 Introduzca el módulo DIMM en la ranura y apriételo firmemente.
Cerciórese de que las pestañas de los lados del módulo DIMM
hayan saltado a la posición de traba, hacia dentro. (Para quitar un
módulo DIMM, se deben soltar las trabas.)
PRECAUCIÓN
No mueva o quite los módulos DIMM de la ranura superior.
8 Cierre la puerta de acceso a los módulos DIMM. Asegúrese de que
encaje en su sitio.
9 Coloque la parte inferior de la cubierta en la impresora. Cerciórese
de que la lengüeta inferior de la cubierta entre en la ranura
correspondiente de la impresora. Levante la cubierta hacia la
impresora.
10 Deslice la cubierta hacia el frente de la impresora hasta que encaje
en su sitio.
11 Vuelva a conectar los cables incluido el cable de alimentación
eléctrica y luego encienda la impresora y pruebe los módulos
DIMM. (Consulte “Comprobación de la instalación de la memoria”
en la página 178.)
