Sà ró˝ne sposoby wprowadzania liter, symboli i cyfr na ekranie urzàdzenia Compaq iPAQ:

• stukanie w klawiatur´,

• pisanie rysikiem i przekszta∏canie pisma na tekst za pomocà funkcji Letter Recognizer,

• pisanie rysikiem przekszta∏canie pisma na tekst za pomocà funkcji Transcriber,

• pisanie rysikiem i przekszta∏canie pisma na tekst za pomocà funkcji Block Recognizer,

• rysowanie i pisanie rysikiem.

W dowolnej aplikacji mo˝na wprowadzaç tekst poprzez stukanie w klawiatur´, pisanie rysikiem z wykorzystaniem

funkcji Letter Recognizer, Transcriber lub Block Recognizer. Mo˝na równie˝ rysowaç i pisaç po ekranie za pomocà

rysika w aplikacji Notes oraz w zak∏adce Notes w aplikacjach Calendar, Contacts i Tasks.

Podczas wprowadzania kolejnych znaków lub pisania urzàdzenie Compaq iPAQ sugeruje mo˝liwe s∏owa w ramce,

która znajduje si´ powy˝ej klawiatury oraz programu Letter Recognizer lub Block Recognizer. Ramka

z sugerowanymi s∏owami nie jest wyÊwietlana w przypadku korzystania z programu Transcriber.

Mo˝liwe jest okreÊlenie, kiedy sugerowane s∏owa majà si´ pojawiç (np. ile liter trzeba wpisaç, ˝eby funkcja Letter

Recognizer podpowiedzia∏a mo˝liwe s∏owa), a tak˝e ile mo˝liwych s∏ów program ma zasugerowaç.
