Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding my Hotpoint Ariston EBM 17210 refrigerator. I'm trying to defrost the freezer compartment. It says in the manual the first step is to (Set the TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT knob to the position OFF). Is it the same knob as that is shared with the rest of the refrigerator? i.e. Will I have to evacuate the whole appliance of food (fridge & freezer) before the manual defrosting process in order to avoid any food going bad?
Or is there another knob separate for the freezer?
