HOE INTENSIEF?
De intensiteit hangt af van uw doelen. Als u zich met de Horizon Fitness Bike wilt voor-
bereiden op een wedstrijd, moet de intensiteit natuurlijk hoger liggen dan wanneer u
naar algemene fitness streeft. Maar ongeacht uw doelen, moet elke training in het begin
minder intensief zijn. Aerobe training hoeft geen pijn te doen om er succes mee te
boeken. Er zijn twee manieren om uw trainingssucces te meten. De eerste is het in de
gaten houden van uw hartslag, de tweede is het analyseren van het bereikte vermoeid-
heidspeil.
VERMOEIDHEIDSNIVEAU
De tweede en eenvoudigste manier om uw trainingssucces te meten, is het analyseren
van het bereikte vermoeidheidspeil. Als u tijdens het trainen zodanig buiten adem bent
gekomen, dat u geen gesprek meer kunt voeren, heeft u een te hoge intensiteit gekozen.
U moet zich tijdens het trainen goed voelen en niet uitgeput zijn. Als u buiten adem bent,
wordt het tijd langzamer te gaan lopen. Let op de signalen van uw lichaam als u wilt
voorkomen dat u zich te veel inspant.
