Otpadna električna

i elektronička oprema sadrži

onečišćujuće tvari (koje mogu

imati negativan učinak na

okoliš) i bazne elemente (koji

se mogu ponovno upotrijebiti).

Važno je posebno obraditi otpadnu električnu

i elektroničku opremu a da bi se ispravno

uklonili i odložili onečišćivači i vratili svi

materijali. Pojedinci mogu imati važnu ulogu u

postizanju cilja da otpadna električna

i elektronička oprema ne postane ekološki

problem. Treba se pridržavati nekoliko

osnovnih pravila:

• Otpadna električna i elektronička oprema

ne smije se zbrinjavati kao kućanski otpad;

• opremu WEEE potrebno je odnijeti na

namjenska područja za prikupljanje kojima

upravlja gradsko vijeće ili registrirano poduzeće.

U mnogim državama, velika se otpadna električna

i elektronička oprema prikuplja i kao kućanski

otpad. Pri kupnji novog uređaja, stari uređaj

možete vratiti prodavaču koji će ga preuzeti

besplatno, samo ako je uređaj iste vrste ili ima

jednake funkcije kao i kupljeni uređaj.

Kad god je to moguće, upotrijebite poklopac za

pokrivanje tave. Regulirajte plamen tako da se

ne preklapa s promjerom tave.
