9. ¿Cuándo se activa la Alarma?
Si el nivel de CO (PPM) en la habitación es alta, la alarma de monóxido de carbono pasa al modo de
alarma de acuerdo con el siguiente esquema:
027PPM ± 03PPM : No hay señal de alarma
055PPM ± 05PPM : Señal de alarma entre 60 y 90 minutos
110PPM ± 10PPM : Señal de alarma entre 10 y 40 minutos
330PPM ± 30PPM : Señal de alarma en 3 minutos
10. Efectos en la salud del monóxido de carbono
~ - 00100PPM : Leve dolor de cabeza, enrojecimiento de la piel (exposición indefinida).
0200 - 00300PPM : Dolor de cabeza (exposición 5 – 6 horas)
0400 - 00600PPM : Grave dolor de cabeza, debilidad, mareo, náuseas, vómitos (exposición 4 – 5 horas)
1100 – 01500PPM : Aumento de las pulsaciones y de la frecuencia respiratoria, síncope (desmayo),
coma, convulsiones intermitentes (exposición de 4 – 5 horas)
5000 - 10000PPM : Pulso débil, respiración deprimida / insuficiencia respiratoria, muerte
(exposición 1-2 minutos)
• Este aparato no evita los efectos crónicos de la exposición al monóxido de carbono y no protege por
completo a las personas bajo riesgo especial.
11. Funciones inalámbricas (ver página 4)
Interconecte sus alarmas
a) Coloque las alarmas interconectadas de CO lo más cerca posible, a no más de 5 metros de distancia.
b) Seleccione una alarma interconectada de CO como alarma maestra. Pulse 3 veces su botón
PRUEBA/SILENCIO. La luz verde se encenderá.
c) Seleccione otra alarma interconectada de CO como alarma esclava. Pulse 3 veces su botón
PRUEBA/SILENCIO. La luz verde se encenderá.
d) Espere unos segundos hasta que la luz verde empiece a parpadear, indicando que se ha emparejado
con éxito con la red.
e) Repita el paso b) para conectar más alarmas interconectadas de CO.
NOTA: utilice siempre la misma alarma principal para conectar alarmas adicionales de humo, calor o
monóxido de carbono (CO) interconectadas de Resideo, ahora y en el futuro. Anota qué alarma
interconectada en tu hogar es la Master.
