OPERACIÓN DEL HZ-789
NOTA: NUNCA DEJE UNA UNIDAD OPERANDO DESATENDIDA.
Con el botón de encendido (
) en posición de APAGADO, enchufe el calefactor
a un tomacorriente de 120 V~. NO FORCE EL CABLE DE TRES CLAVIJAS EN EL
TOMACORRIENTE ; entrará en una sola posición.
Encienda el calefactor presionando el botón de encendido (
) (Fig.4). El calefactor
encenderá predeterminadamente en modo de Calor Constante Alto y el Indicador de
Temperatura Actual mostrará la temperatura ambiente de la habitación.
Mientras el calefactor se va calentando, el aceite en las columnas de metal puede
expandirse naturalmente y hacer un leve sonido de chasquidos. Esto es normal y se
detendrá una vez que el aceite alcance su temperatura óptima.
El indicador de uso de energía mostrará el consumo de energía utilizado por el calefactor.
• Si está en ALTO, el calefactor está utilizando 1500 watts para calentar la
habitación rápidamente.
• Si está en BAJO, el calefactor está utilizando 900 watts para calentar la
habitación lentamente o mantener la temperatura.
• Si está en ESTADO DE ESPERA (STAND BY), el calefactor no está consumiendo
energía ya que la habitación ha alcanzado la temperatura deseada. En este
momento, el calefactor es más eciente y sólo consume pocos watts de energía
mientras esté en modo ESTADO DE ESPERA (STAND BY).
Para ajustar el calefactor, (Fig.5) el control digital está equipado con dos (2) modos:
Modo de Calor Constante - Elija entre dos (2) ajustes de calor:
1 Constante Bajo, presione AJUSTE para BAJO; este ajuste utiliza 900 watts de
potencia.
2 Constante Alto, presione AJUSTE para ALTO; este ajuste utiliza 1500 watts de
potencia.
NOTA: Debido a que el ajuste Bajo (LO) no requiere mucha electricidad para operar,
es más eciente en el consumo de energía y puede ser una mejor opción si usted esta
interesado en ahorrar energía.
Modo EnergySmart® - Un termostato inteligente que le ayuda a ahorrar energía.
Presione AJUSTE (SET) para elegir entre (4) cuatro conguraciones de confort de 18°C
(65°F), 21°C (70°F), 24°C (75°F), 27°C (80°F). Esta es la temperatura que usted desea
en la habitación. El termostato EnergySmart® automáticamente seleccionará el nivel de
potencia apropiado para llegar a la Temperatura Deseada. A medida que la temperatura
del aire (temperatura actual) en la habitación se aproxime a la Temperatura Deseada, el
calefactor automáticamente disminuirá el consumo de energía para proporcionar calor
constante sin desperdiciar energía.
El Indicador de Temperatura Actual mostrará la temperatura actual de la habitación.
NOTA: En modo Energysmart®, el Indicador de Uso de Energía mostrará el
consumo de potencia que el calefactor ha elegido automáticamente para llegar
ecientemente a la Temperatura Deseada.
• Para anular la característica EnergySmart®, apague el calefactor (
) o presione
AJUSTE (SET) para elegir modo de Calor Constante.
• Para ajustar el temporizador presione el botón (
) para seleccionar el ajuste
entre 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 o 12 horas, (Fig.6). El calefactor operará por el tiempo elegido
en el modo seleccionado y se apagará automáticamente una vez transcurrido el
tiempo.
