IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read through all the instructions before starting to use
the fan. Keep this manual in a safe place for future
reference.
1. Supervision is needed when the air-conditioner is
used anywhere near children. This appliance is not
intended for use by children or other persons without
assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory or
mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely.
2. Do not use the fan outdoors.
3. Do not touch the rotating fan blades with any part
of the body. This can cause personal injury and
damage.
4. Only connect the fan to a single-phase power
socket with the current as stated on its type plate.
5. Always switch the fan off with the speed control
knob (4) and disconnect the power plug (7) from the
power socket when the fan is not in use, or when it is
moved, handled or cleaned. Do not tug at the power
cord (7) to disconnect the plug.
6. Do not use an infinitely variable speed controller.
This can lead to overheating, fire, electric shock or
faults in the appliance.
7. Unwind the power cord (7) completely. An
incompletely unwound power cord (7) can lead to
overheating and cause a fire. Do not touch the power
cord (7) with wet hands. Position the power cord (7) so
that nobody can trip over it and where the socket can
be reached easily.
8. Do not use the fan anywhere near easily
inflammable gases or substances such as solvents,
lacquers, glues etc.
9. Do not plunge the fan into water or any other liquids
and do not pour water or any other liquids over the
fan.
10. Clean the fan regularly by following the cleaning
instructions.
11. The fan must only be used in accordance with the
instructions in this user manual. Non-observance of
these instructions can lead to injury, fire or electric
shock.
12. The fan is only designed for private use in indoor
rooms and is not intended for commercial use. Do not
use the fan anywhere near a bathtub, a shower or a
swimming pool, or anywhere else where water could
splash.
13. Do not operate the fan if it is damaged or might
be defective, or if it is not working properly. Remove
the power plug (7) from the socket.
14. Place the fan on a firm, even, dry surface.
Maintain a safety distance of at least 50 cm from other
objects. Make sure the fan is standing securely so that
it cannot tip over or fall down.
15. If the power cord (7) of the fan is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or at a
manufacturer-approved service centre or by similarly
qualified persons, so as to avoid damage.

FIRST TIME OF USE
1. Read through all the instructions before starting to
use the fan.
2. Unpack the fan and the power cord with power plug
(7). Remove all the packaging materials and dispose of
them for recycling.
3. Place the fan on a level, firm and dry surface. Make
sure the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip
over or fall down. A safety distance of at least 50 cm
from other objects must be observed.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Align the neck (2) of the fan with the fan head (3).
2. Carefully snap the fan head (3) into the neck (2) by
firmly pushing the motor housing down until it securely
locks into the neck (2).
Note: The fan head (3) and the fan neck (2) only snap
together one way. The indentation on the fan neck area
should be lined up with the power cord (7) extrusion at
the rear of the fan head (3)
Once assembled this fan will not disassemble.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

sure the fan is standing securely so that it cannot tip
