INSTALACIÓN
MOVER EL CALEFACTOR
• El Calefactor Cerámico de Torre de Honeywell no requiere ensamblaje. Simplemente desempaque el calefactor y guarde todos
los materiales de embalaje para almacenaje fuera de temporada.
• Coloque el calefactor sobre una supercie rme, nivelada y abierta, libre de obstrucciones y por lo menos a 0.9m (3 pies) de
cualquier pared o material combustible.
• NO use sobre una supercie inestable como la cama o alfombras profundas.
• ASEGÚRESE QUE EL CALEFACTOR NO ESTÉ EN UNA POSICIÓN DONDE PUEDA SER DERRIBADO POR NIÑOS O MASCOTAS.
• Este calefactor está equipado con un asa Fría al Tacto para su conveniencia.
• Apague el calefactor.
• Permita que se enfríe durante 10 minutos.
• Desconecte el calefactor y muévalo.
• NOTA: NUNCA DEJE DESATENDIDA UNA UNIDAD EN
OPERACIÓN
• Con el Botón de Encendido ( ) en la posición de APAGADO,
enchufe el calefactor en un tomacorriente polarizado de
120V~. NO FUERCE EL ENCHUFE POLARIZADO EN EL
TOMACORRIENTE; sólo entrará unidireccionalmente.
• Con oscilación de 80°, el Calefactor Cerámico de Torre de
Honeywell es versátil y diseñado para ser colocado en el
centro de la habitación o cerca de la pared (alejado al menos
91 cm) para máxima calefacción por convección.
• Apague el calefactor presionando el Botón de Encendido
(). El Indicador de Encendido se iluminará y el calefactor
iniciará en el Ajuste de Nivel ALTO Constante ( ) y mostrará la
Temperatura Actual en la habitación.
• El calefactor tiene dos modos de operación – calor continuo o calor con un ajuste de termostato donde el calefactor se enciende y se
apaga según el ajuste de temperatura seleccionado.
• Para establecer un Ajuste de Calor Constante, presione ( ):
- Elija Bajo ( ) para usar 900 watts de potencia (750 watts sólo en las Series HCE317)
- Elija Alto ( ) para usar 1500 watts de potencia
NOTA: Debido a que el ajuste Bajo no requiere tanta electricidad para operar, es energéticamente más eciente y puede ser una
mejor opción si usted está preocupado por el ahorro de energía.
• En el modo de calor constante, asegúrese de APAGAR manualmente el calefactor cuando termine de usar este aparato.
• Para ajustar el Termostato, presione los Botones de Control del Termostato ( ) y seleccione la Temperatura Deseada.
La Temperatura Deseada parpadeará cinco veces y luego mostrará la Temperatura Actual en la habitación con un rojo constante.
Sólo en los modelos de la unidad HCE305/HCE309, existen 4 ajustes preestablecidos de confort de los cuales puede elegir: 65°, 70°,
75°, 80°. Estos son los ajustes de temperatura deseada para la habitación.
NOTA: si la Temperatura Actual es superior a la Temperatura Deseada, el calefactor se apagará hasta que la temperatura de la
habitación sea menor a este ajuste o hasta que cambie la Temperatura Deseada.
• Presione el Botón del Temporizador ( ) para seleccionar el ajuste de 1, 2, 4, u 8 horas.
NO desconecte el calefactor hasta que haya completado el ciclo de enfriamiento.
