With the unit on, insert the tip of a ball-point pen

for 5 seconds as shown in Fig. 2.

These cleaning intervals are intended as guidelines only.

Filter removal

Turn-o and unplug the unit. While pressing on the tab at

the top of the rear grille, pull the grille towards you and

remove it.

Gently ease out the two purication lters by pulling on

the ribbed surface on the top of each lter frame and lift

out. To install the lters, engage the bottom end rst on its

locating tab, then tilt in and press the top end home. Place

the bottom tab of the back grill in the recess at the bottom

of the unit, and tilt forward so that the top tab of the lter

grill snaps into place. See Fig. 3.

CLEANING

Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

1. outer housing

clean the air purier at least once a month and before

extended storage. Use a dry cloth to wipe the external

surfaces. Do not use water, wax polish or any chemicals.

2. pre lter

The pre-lter can be rinsed by hand under warm water.

Let the pre-lter dry completely before inserting it back

into the unit. See Fig. 4.

3. permanent lter

Remove the lter from the unit, place on a at surface

& clean with a vacuum cleaner nozzle. Repeat on both

sides. See Fig. 5.

Place the lter in a sink full of luke warm water with a

few drops of mild liquid soap.

Soak the lter for 2-3 minutes. Do not leave for an

extended period of time.

Rinse the lter with clean tap water. See Fig. 6.

Shake the lter to remove any excess water.

Place the lter with the honeycomb side down on a

towel. Allow to dry overnight. Re-insert into the unit.

Note that the lter may be discoloured after washing.

This will not aect performance.

The purication lter is NOT dishwasher safe.
