ATENCIÓN: DESCONECTE LA ALIMENTACIÓN ELÉCTRICA ANTES DE
EFECTUAR MANTENIMIENTO. No intente lavar el prefiltro de carbón ni el filtro
HEPA. No son lavables y si se lavan pueden ser dañados.
Las únicas dos piezas que necesitan mantenimiento son el el prefiltro de carbón y el filtro
HEPA. No se necesitan herramientas. Para retirar o cambiar cualquiera de los filtros, desmonte
el purificador como se muestra a continuación:
ANTES DE OPERAR EL PURIFICADOR DE AIRE, ASEGÚRESE QUE EL PREFILTRO
ESTÉ EN SU LUGAR.
Para ordenar los reemplazos del prefiltro o del filtro, consulte la sección
“Accesorios y Filtros de Reemplazo”.
Paso 1: Apague el purificador de aire y desenchúfelo del tomacorriente.
Paso 2: Para abrir, con cuidado coloque de lado el purificador de aire y desatornille el
mecanismo de cierre ubicado en la parte inferior de la unidad (Fig. 2).
Paso 3: Quite el montaje de la base del purificador de aire.
Paso 4: Retire el conjunto del filtro (compuesto del filtro HEPA y del prefiltro) de la cámara
interna.

5: Si está cambiando el prefiltro, localice la unión del prefiltro y cuidadosamente
separe el sujetador para sacar el prefiltro del filtro HEPA (Fig. 3).

Descarte el prefiltro usado si es necesario.
Revise el filtro HEPA para asegurarse
que no esté muy seco o pueda estar bloqueado. Cambie el filtro HEPA si es
necesario.

7:
Enrolle cuidadosamente el prefiltro alrededor del filtro HEPA de modo que los
extremos queden juntos (Fig. 4). Una los extremos con el sujetador provisto.

8:
Coloque todo el conjunto del filtro en la cámara interna. Cierre el purificador
colocando nuevamente la base y apretando el mecanismo de bloqueo.
NO APRIETE DE MÁS.

9:
Coloque el purificador de aire en posición vertical, enchúfelo en un tomacorriente y ya
está listo para su uso.
No olvide reiniciar el indicador de filtro Intelli-Check
