Acabado final
Después de lavar la motocicleta, utilice un
limpiador/abrillantador en pulverizador o
cera líquida o en pasta de calidad,
disponibles en establecimientos comerciales,
para finalizar la limpieza. Use solamente
un abrillantador o cera no abrasivos,
fabricados especialmente para motocicletas
o automóviles. Aplique el abrillantador o la
cera según las instrucciones que figuran
en el envase.
Eliminación de la sal de la carretera
La sal que se utiliza en las carreteras
durante el invierno y la sal del agua de mar
pueden causar oxidación.
Después de conducir en estas condiciones:
Lave la motocicleta tal como se indica
después de estar en contacto con agua
salada o pasar por carreteras en las que
se haya echado sal.
1. Limpie la motocicleta utilizando agua
fría (página 133).
No use agua caliente.
Se agravaría el efecto de la sal.
2. Seque la motocicleta y asegúrese de
que la superficie metálica está protegida
con cera.
