Se si decide di utilizzare una benzina che contiene alcol (miscela benzina-alcol),

controllare che il numero di ottano sia almeno pari al valore raccomandato da Honda.

Esistono due tipi di miscele benzina-alcol: una contenente etanolo e l’altra contenente

metanolo.

Non usare miscel e benzina-alcol contenenti oltre il 10% di etanolo.

Non usare benzine contenenti oltre il 5% di metanolo (alcol metilico o alcol di legno) e che

non contengono anche dei cosolventi e degli anticorrosivi specifici per metanolo.

Eventuali danni all’impianto di alimentazione o problemi alle prestazioni del motore

derivanti dall’uso di benzina contenente più alcol di quanto raccomandato non sono

coperti dalla garanzia.

Prima di acquistare benzina da un distributore che non si conosce, controllare se

contiene alcol, di che tipo ed in che percentuale.

Se si notano sintomi operativi indesiderabili utilizzando una determinata benzina,

passare a una benzina di cui si è sicuri che contenga un quantitativo di alcol inferiore a

quanto raccomandato.
