PRÉPARATIONS ET VÉRIFICATIONS AVANT UTILISATION
VÉRIFICATION DU SAC DE RAMASSAGE
S’assurer, avant utilisation, que le dispositif de fermeture du sac est bien bloqué
(protecteur de décharge).
Même dans des conditions normales d’utilisation, le sac de ramassage a tendance à
s’user. Il convient donc de vérifier régulièrement s’il n’est pas effiloché ou déchiré. Un
sac usé doit être remplacé. Ne remplacer un sac détérioré que par un sac Honda.
Retrait du sac :
1. Arrêter le moteur.
2. Soulever le protecteur de décharge [1], saisir la poignée [3] et retirer
le sac [2], tout en le maintenant à la verticale.
Remise en place :
1. Soulever le protecteur de décharge et accrocher la partie avant du
sac sur les ergots de fixation de la tondeuse.
2. Une fois le sac installé, la tondeuse à gazon fonctionne comme un aspirateur. Elle projette de
l’air dans le sac qui emprisonne les brins d’herbe.
SYSTÈME DE RÉGLAGE DE LA HAUTEUR DU GUIDON
La hauteur du guidon [4] est réglable sur trois positions : haut [5], intermédiaire [6] et bas [7].
Choisir la hauteur qui vous donne la position la plus confortable.
1. Desserrer les papillons de blocage du guidon [8].
2. Ecarter les extrémités inférieures du guidon pour relâcher les tenons de positionnement.
3. Tirer le guidon vers le haut ou vers le bas pour que les tenons de positionnement s’engagent
dans les trous désirés se trouvant sur le support du guidon [8].
4. Resserrer à fond les molettes de blocage du guidon.

CHECKING THE GRASS BAG
Before use, ensure that the bag closing device is correctly locked (discharge guard).
Even in normal use, the grass bag tends to wear. Regularly check that it is not frayed or
torn. A worn out bag must be replaced. Replace a damaged bag by a Honda bag only.
Bag removal:
1. Stop the engine.
2. Raise discharge guard [1], grasp handle [3] and remove bag [2] while
keeping it in an upright position.
Bag fitting:
1.
Raise the discharge guard and hook the front of the bag on the mower’s attachment lugs.
2. Once the bag is fitted, the mower operates like a vacuum cleaner. It forces air into the bag
which traps the grass cuttings.
HANDLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM
Handle [4] height is adjustable in three positions: up [5], mid position [6] and down [7]. Choose
the height which is most comfortable for you.
1. Slacken the handle locking knobs [8].
2. Pull apart the lower ends of the handle to release the locating pins.
3. Pull the handle upwards or downwards so that the locating pins engage in the desired holes
on the handle support [8].
4. Retighten the handle locking knobs fully.
