Mounting Start-up
When selecting a mounting location and drilling
in the vicinity of switches or socket outlets, check
for electrical wires and power supply cables.
The mounting location should be protected from
the eects of the weather and not exposed to
direct sunlight or other sources of heat radiation.
5.2 Wall mounting
For the wall mounting with the supplied screws and
plugs, please proceed as follows:
Choose a site for installation (see “5.1 General
notes on installation” on page 29).
Remove the cap (A)
(see fig. 2)
.
Position the temperature and humidity sensor
without cap (A) on the desired site on the wall and
mark the bore holes (D) with a pen (
see fig. 3)
.
Now drill the bore holes.
If you are working with a stone wall, drill the
marked two 5 mm holes and insert the plugs sup-
plied. If you are working with a wooden wall, you
can pre-drill 1.5 mm holes to make screws easier
to insert.
Insert the plugs into the bore holes.
Position the temperature and humidity sensor
and turn the screws into the plugs (
see fig. 4)
.
Do not yet place the cap (A).
