9.2 Duty Cycle
El Duty Cycle indica una limitación del tiempo de emisión de los dis-
positivos regulada legalmente en el intervalo de 868 MHz. El obje-
tivo de esta normativa es garantizar el funcionamiento de todos los
dispositivos que trabajan dentro del intervalo de 868 MHz. Dentro
del intervalo de frecuencias de 868 MHz utilizado por nosotros, el
tiempo de emisión máximo de cada dispositivo es del 1 % de una
hora (es decir, 36 segundos por cada hora). Los dispositivos dejan de
emitir cuando alcanzan el límite del 1 % y hasta que haya finalizado
el límite temporal. De conformidad con esa directiva, los dispositivos
Homematic IP se desarrollan o producen con un 100% de confor-
midad con esa norma. Generalmente, durante el funcionamiento
normal no se alcanza el Duty Cycle. No obstante, en algunos casos
individuales durante la puesta en marcha o la primera instalación de
un sistema, esto puede ocurrir debido a la repetición de los procesos
de programación con gran intensidad de transmisiones inalámbricas.
Si se ha superado el límite del Duty Cycle, el dispositivo lo indica con
una iluminación larga del LED rojo (D o L); esto puede provocar un
fallo de funcionamiento temporal del dispositivo. Pasado un breve
periodo (máx. 1 hora), se recupera el funcionamiento del dispositivo.
