CORRECCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
MANTENIMIENTO
TAPA DEL TANQUE DE COMBUSTIBLE
ADVERTENCIA:
Revise la herramienta para ver si tiene fugas de com-
bustible. Una tapa del tanque de combustible con fugas
constituye un riesgo de incendio y debe reemplazarse
inmediatamente. Si encuentra fugas, corrija el problema
antes de utilizar la herramienta. De lo contrario puede
producirse un incendio, con el consiguiente riesgo de
lesiones serias.
La tapa del tanque de combustible contiene un filtro que no
necesita mantenimiento y una válvula de retención. Un filtro de
combustible obstruido puede causar un desempeño deficiente
del motor. Si mejora el desempeño al aflojar la tapa del tanque
de combustible, es posible que esté defectuosa la válvula de
retención o quizá esté obstruido el filtro. Reemplace la tapa
del tanque de combustible si es necesario.
ALMACENAMIENTO DE LA PRODUCTO
Limpie todo material extraño de la producto. Almacene la
unidad en un espacio bien ventilado inaccesible a los niños.
Evite que la unidad entre en contacto con agentes corrosivos
como las sustancias químicas para el jardín y las sales para
derretir el hielo.
Cumpla todos los reglamentos federales y municipales para
el almacenamiento y manejo seguro de la gasolina.
AL ALMACENAR 1 MES O MÁS:
Drene todo el combustible del tanque en un recipiente de
uso aprobado para gasolina. Accione el motor hasta que se
apague.
SI CON ESTAS SOLUCIONES NO SE RESUELVE EL PROBLEMA, COMUNÍQUESE CON EL ESTABLECIMIENTO DE
SERVICIO AUTORIZADO DE SU PREFERENCIA.
PROBLEMA CAUSA SOLUCIÓN
El motor no arranca. No hay combustible en el tanque.
Falló o tiene corto la bujía.
Se rompió la bujía (se rajó la porcelana
o se rompieron los electrodos).
El cable de ignición tiene corto, está
roto o desconectado de la bujía.
El sistema de ignición no funciona.
Llene el tanque.
Reemplace la bujía.
Reemplace la bujía.
Reemplace el cable de ignición o
conéctelo a la bujía.
Comuníquese con un centro de servicio
autorizado.
Cuesta trabajo arrancar el motor. Hay agua en la gasolina o está

El anegador está demasiado abierto
o cerrado.
Está débil la chispa de la bujía.
Drene todo el sistema y reabastézcalo
de combustible fresco.
