OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Intended use
• This device is suitable for drying hair only. It is not suitable for drying any other objects. Any other use can
lead to damages to device or injuries.
Unpacking and checking
• Carefully take the device and its accessories out of the packaging. Retain the packaging in case you would
like to store the device away or transport it at a later date. If you choose to dispose of the packaging, then
please do so according to the applicable legal regulations.
• Check the packaging contents for completeness and damages. Should the contents in the packaging not be
complete or be damaged, do not use the device. Return it to your retail outlet immediately.
Operation
• Voltage selector switch: Prior to use, make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage setting of
the device. Use the selector switch 230V/120V (9) to adjust the voltage of the hair dryer to the local mains
voltage. Use a coin for this purpose.
• Attach the nozzle (1) to the device. It can be pivoted in any direction and facilitates the targeted styling of
hair by bundling the air flow.
• Attention! The nozzle will be very hot during operation.
• Connect the power plug (8) to a suitable power outlet.
• Use the slide switch (6) to switch the device on. Select level 1 or level 2.
Level Airflow Temperature
0 Device switched off -
1 Low airflow Medium temperature
2 Strong airflow High temperature
• Put he slide switch (6) to position (cold setting) to immediately stop the hot air flow and switch to cold air.
• You can set your hairdo with cold air. Hot air will be generated as soon as you put the slide switch to position
1 or 2.
• Always switch the device off after use and disconnect the power plug.
• After the device has cooled down completely, you can fold the handle (5) to save space and store the device.
Overheating protection
• If the hair dryer overheats, it shuts down automatically.
• Disconnect the power plug and allow the device to cool off completely prior to restarting it.
• Inspect whether the lint screen (4) is soiled and remove any residue, e.g. hair or lint.
