OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Unpacking and checking
Remove all packaging and check the appliance for damage.•
Do not use the appliance if it is damaged in any way. Bring it back to the dealer immediately.•
Insert batteries
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the handle.•
Insert two 1.5V batteries of the type LR6/AA. The batteries are included.•
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-) in accordance with the markings.•
Close the battery compartment.•
Also observe the safety instructions for handling batteries (see “Important safety instructions”).•
Using the toothbrush
Use the following steps to explain to your child how to use the appliance properly.•
Remove the protection cap from the tooth brush.•
Put the toothbrush in water for a few seconds.•
Put toothpaste onto the brush head.•
Guide the toothbrush to the teeth, only then turn on the appliance. Press the on switch • I.
Hold the brush parallel to the teeth to clean thoroughly. Be sure to brush for at least 2 minutes. Use •
the supplied sand timer to check the cleaning time.
Move the brush along the teeth and the gum. First brush the outside of your teeth, then brush the •
inner side before you brush the chewing surface of your teeth.
It is recommended to brush your teeth every morning and every evening before sleeping.•
The first few times you brush with an electrical toothbrush, you can suffer some bleeding gum. In •
general, bleeding should stop after a few days.
If the bleeding persists for two weeks, contact your dentist immediately.•
After brushing turn off the tooth brush with the off switch • 0 while the brush head is still in the
mouth.
Rinse the brush with water and dry thoroughly afterwards.•
Cover the brush head again with the protection cap.•
Changing the brush head
For optimal brushing, we advise you to change the attachment brush every three months or sooner •
if the brush hairs begin to widen.
The brush head is easy to change by pulling it off the toothbrush. The new brush can be attached very •
easily by pushing it on the tooth brush.
