Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem your-
self. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the customer service
department.
Do not attempt to repair a electrical device yourself!
Problem Possible

The device
cannot be
switched on.
The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the plug socket.
Plug the mains plug into the plug socket as
far as it will go.
The plug socket is defective. Try another plug socket.
No mains voltage is present.
Check the fuse of the electrical distributor
(fuse box).
The attachment is not fi xed cor-
rectly on the motor unit

Take off the attachment and place it on the
motor unit again until it engages.
The blade is blocked by pieces of
food which are too large or too
hard or the container
(10) of the
chopper is overfi lled.
Reduce the amount of food or chop the
food into smaller pieces before using the
device. Food which is too hard is unsuitable
for the device.
The device has overheated.
Wait until it has cooled down, then try
again.
