Cleaning and maintenance
Before beginning any work, pay attention to
the safety instructions in the section Safety
precautions (page 10)!
1. Use a slightly moist cloth to wipe off the
outside of the appliance housing and the ac-
cessory parts.
2. The cleaning cloths can be washed at
40°C in the washing machine. In order to al-
low the cloths to properly absorb the dirt, do
not use fabric softeners. Do not dry the mi-
crobre cloths in the tumble drier.
Descaling
In order to increase the service life of the
appliance, it must be descaled at regular
intervals. The descaling intervals depend on
the water hardness and frequency of use. We
recommend descaling every three months.
1. Pour water mixed with a little citric acid
(ca. 50 ml) into the water tank. Pay attention
the maximum lling level of 400 ml.
2. Put the water tank into the appliance.
3. Insert the mains plug into the mains sock-
et and push the steam release lever for a few
minutes. Make sure that discharging steam
does not damage any surfaces.
4. Allow the appliance to stand for 10 min-
utes so that the descaling solution can start
to work.
5. Press the steam trigger until there is no
more water.
6. Rinse the water tank with fresh water.
7. Fill with fresh water and operate the appli-
ance with clean water for a few minutes.
NOTE
► When using descaling agents, pay at-
tention to the instructions on use from the
manufacturer.
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for
a longer period of time, clean it as described
in the section Cleaning and maintenance
(page 16).
Store the appliance and all accessory parts
at a dry, clean and frost-free location which is
protected against direct sunlight.
You can wrap the mains cable around the
hooks (6 and 8).
Position the appliance upright until the oor
brush audibly snaps in (see images G1 and
G2).
General
Warranty / Guarantee
In addition to the statutory warranty obliga-
tion, HOBERG also grants an extended
manufacturer's guarantee for some products.
Provided this is granted, the corresponding
details for each product can be found either
on the product-specic packaging, advertis-
ing material or from HOBERG customer
service.
For commercial or equivalent use, e.g. in ho-
tels, guest houses or communal premises, or
if the customer is not a consumer as dened
by the German Civil Code, the guarantee
period is 6 months. This does not infringe the
warranty disclaimer.
Please contact your supplier if you have any
questions on guarantee conditions, ordering
accessories or service handling outside of
Germany.
Limitation of liability
We assume no liability for damage or follow-
up damage in the case of:
■ failure to follow the usage instructions,
■ use for other than the intended purpose,
■ improper or unsuitable handling,
■ improperly performed repairs,
■ unauthorized alterations,
■ the use of third-party components and/or
replacement parts,
■ the use of unsuitable auxiliary parts or ac-
cessories.

and other relevant provisions of directives
2004/108/EC, 2006/95/EC, 2009/125/EC and
