Verschillende omroepstations zenden nu films en programma's uit in
breedbeeldformaat. Uw TV detecteert deze signalen en gaat automatisch in de juiste
beeldstand staan. Sommige kanalen zenden dit automatische sensorsignaal echter niet uit
zodat uw TV het uitzendformaat niet herkent. Uw beeldverhouding kan handmatig worden
geselecteerd door op de toets op uw afstandsbediening te drukken en u door de
beeldstand opties te verplaatsen. Zie onderstaande voorbeelden voor beeldstanden.

Het automatische formaat kan tevens handmatig worden geselecteerd. De
automatische modus detecteert automatisch de verschillende beeldstanden die
in (4:3) standaardformaat of in breedbeeld (16:9 of 14:9) worden uitgezonden.
Na de detectie van het uitgezonden signaal schakelt de TV automatisch over
op de juiste beeldstand.
