NICAM is een methode voor het zenden en ontvangen van stereogeluid. Als uw TV geen NICAM kan ontvangen
vanwege een slechte geografische ligging, klimaat etc. of als NICAM niet in uw omgeving wordt uitgezonden dan krijgt u
een monaurale geluidsbron.
Stereo
Dit effect produceert NICAM digitaal stereogeluid
van uw TV. Gebruik deze mode voor het bekijken van het
merendeel van de TV-programma's. Na selectie verschijnt
het stereosymbool. Gebruik de toets op uw
afstandsbediening om op stereo over te schakelen.
Kamerbreed stereogeluid
Dit effect verbetert het NICAM digitale
stereogeluid door het geluid van de TV kamerbreed uit te
zenden. Gebruik deze mode bij het kijken naar actiefilms
of sportuitzendingen om een kamerbrede akoestiek te
verkrijgen. Gebruik de toets op uw
afstandsbediening om naar kamerbrede stereo over te
schakelen.
Monauraal
In deze mode produceert de TV één enkele
geluidsbron. Sommige stereosignalen kunnen slecht
overkomen in slechte weersomstandigheden en u
moet mono selecteren om een slechte geluidskwaliteit te
vermijden.
Pseudo-stereo
Dit produceert een omgevingsgeluid van
monosignalen die stereogeluid nabootsen.
Gebruik de
toets op uw afstandsbediening om naar pseudo-
stereo over te schakelen.
Nota: Pseudo-stereo is uitsluitend beschikbaar bij
monaurale transmissies.
