De redoX waarde informeert ons over het potentieel van oxidatie of reductie, en wordt gebruikt om het vermogen van sterilisatie van het water vast te stellen. De instelling of
instelpunt is de minimum redoX-waarde voor de activering/deactivering van de titaniumcel. De aanpassing van de ideale redoX (instelpunt) is de laatste stap om het systeem
in werking te zetten. Om de ideale redoX-waarde in uw zwembad te vinden, volgt u de volgende instructies:
1. Sluit de filtratie van uw zwembad aan (het zout dient perfect opgelost te zijn in het water van uw zwembad).
2. Voeg Chloor aan het water toe totdat deze 1-1,5 ppm (ong. 1-1,5 g Chloor per m3 water). De pH dient tussen 7,2 - 7,5 te zijn.
3. Na 30 minuten leest u de Vrij Chloor waarde in uw zwembad af (handmatige meter DPD1). Als deze tussen 0,8 - 1,00 ppm Vrij Chloor is, leest u de gemeten waarde van de
redoX display af en slaat u deze waarde op als instelpunt om de Elektrolyse/Hydrolyse-cel te activeren/deactiveren.
4. Controleer de volgende dag de niveaus van Vrij Chloor (handmatige meter DPD1) en redoX. Verhoog/Verlaag het instelpunt indien dit noodzakelijk is.
5. Denk eraan om het instelpunt van redoX iedere 2-3 maanden, en/of wanneer de parameters van het water (pH/temperatuur/geleidbaarheid) wijzigen, te controleren.
