4. Check if the water tank (7) has been installed properly.
USE OF THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the appliance on a level, stable and smooth sur-
face. Maintain at least 20 cm of empty space on each
side of the appliance to ensure free air circulation (Fig.
1).
2. Close the windows and doors in the room in which the
appliance is intended to run. The dehumidifier will not
be able to decrease humidity otherwise. Ongoing air
exchange might have a negative effect on the expect-
ed results.
WARNING! The device is recommended for rooms with an area of
10-20 m
2
.
3. Plug the dehumidifier in.
4. Turn the dehumidifier on by pressing the switch (2a) – the indicator light (2j) will light up,
indicating operation, the display will show the current RH level and the fan will start up.
5. Press the mode button (2b) to choose dehumidifying (SMART) – the indicator light will light
up (2h).
CAUTION! The dehumidifier is only used to lower the relative humidity. The dehumidifier is not able to humi-
dify the air.
6. Set a target humidity level by pressing the humidity/time navigation buttons (2c, 2d). The
selected level will pulse for a moment and the display will show the current RH level again. It
may be set from 35 to 80% at 5% steps. The appliance will operate until the selected level is
reached, then turn off compressor and turn back on when humidity increases. The dehumid-
ifier fan will work all the time.
CAUTION! To ensure efficient operation, the controller allows the operation to be interrupted below the
selected level and resumed above the selected level (up to 3%) with a small delay.
CAUTION! When you change the RH parameters, it may take up to 30 minutes for the dehumidifier to apply the
new parameters – protection of the heat exchanger circuits.
CAUTION! Depending on the atmospheric pressure and temperature, the values shown by the humidity level
display may slightly deviate from the actual RH level.
7. Use the switch (2e) to turn on the humidity indicator light (5). It is worth remembering that
the colours may change slightly slower than the values shown on the display, as the proces-
sor needs some time to stabilise the readings.
8. Depending on the humidity level, temperature and pressure, the appliance will regularly
turn on the DEFROST mode automatically, indicated by the indicator light (2l). It consists in
heating up and defrosting the evaporator. During this process, water flow to the tank increas-
es. After dehumidifying, the DEFROST mode will turn off automatically and the appliance will
resume operation.
CAUTION! Cool or warm air blowing out of the dehumidifier is normal and proves the proper operation of the
appliance.
