Before their attack, a player may spend points to gain extra attacks

that round. For every 1 point a player spends, they get 1 extra attack. A player

can only spend 3 points per round in this manner.

If at any time either monsters health is reduced to zero, they are

knocked out and lose the fight. That player must give the other player half of

their total points, rounded up. The player then places their knocked out monster

on their lair tile.

(Example: Konk decides he wants to attack Toxicor and move onto

the same tile. Konk goes first because he started the fight. He rolls a 4, a 5, and

a 2. He hits 2 times, dealing 3 damage each time. Toxicor then fights back,

rolling a 5, a 4, and another 5. He hits 3 times, dealing 3 damage each time.

Konk takes his turn again and rolls a 5, a 3, and a 4. He hits 2 times, knocking

Toxicor out. Toxicor had a total of 8 points, so Konk gets to take 4 of those

points.)

At the end of any round, either player can chose to run away from the

fight. They take their monster and move it up to 3 spaces away. If a player

chooses to run away, they must give 5 of their points to the other player. If they

have less than 5 points, they give all of their points to the other player.

A player can regain lost health by end their turn on their lair tile. If

any player ends their turn on their starting lair tile, they move their health

counter up to its maximum.

Mutations

If your monster ends on the turn on a Mutation tile, they draw 1

Mutation card from the deck and place it face up in front of them. The monster

immediately receives the effect stated on the card.

(Example: Toxicor ends his turn on the Crazygloop Factory, which is

a Mutation tile. He draws a Mutation card, in this case the Armored Scales

card, and places it face up in front of him. Toxicor now has 1 more point of

armor, but can’t move as fast anymore.)

A player can only use a specific mutation site once; they do not gain

another mutation card if they visit the site a second time. Once all players have

visited a specific mutation site, it is used up and cannot be used again for the

rest of the game.
