De Oostenrijkse Vloot in Greece kan de verplaatsing naar Serbia niet ondersteunen. Omdat
een Vloot niet kan verplaatsen naar een binnenland provincie, kan het daar ook geen
ondersteuning geven.
De Turkse aanval op Rumania mislukt, ondanks de ondersteuning, omdat Rusland meer
eenheden had die de standhoud order ondersteunden (twee-eenheid aanval tegen een drie-
eenheid standhouden).
Commentaar: Meerdere orders mislukken, waaronder de verplaatsing van Turkije naar
Bulgaria, de Italiaanse verplaatsing naar Marseilles en de Duitse verplaatsing naar
Burgundy.
Sleutel Regel: Een eenheid die niet verplaatst kan een hele serie eenheden tegenhouden bij
hun verplaatsing.
Commentaar: De Duitse aanval op Burgundy vanuit Munich kapt de ondersteuning aldaar.
Dit zorgt ervoor dat de ondersteunde Duitse aanval naar Belgium slaagt (twee-eenheid
aanval tegen één-eenheid standhouden).
Sleutel Regel: Ondersteuning wordt gekapt als de eenheid die de ondersteuning geeft wordt
aangevallen vanuit een provincie met uitzondering van de provincie waarheen ondersteuning
wordt gegeven.

Commentaar: Kijk eerst naar ondersteuning die gekapt wordt. Veel van de ondersteuning
orders die deze beurt zijn geschreven worden gekapt als gevolg van de volgende regel.

Russische Leger in Sevastopol (de aanval vanuit Armenia), het Russische Leger in Galicia
(de aanval vanuit Vienna) en de Russische Vloot in Rumania (de aanval vanuit Bulgaria). Het
