Standby/Ingeschakeld: indrukken om de
TU 970 in te schakelen; nogmaals indrukken om
uit te schakelen (standby). Denk er aan dat de
Lichtnetindicatie

naast de schakelaar na
inschakelen blauw oplicht.

Cijfertoetsen: deze toetsen dienen als
cijfertoetsen om voorkeurposities of zenders
direct in te toetsen.

Wissen: voor het wissen van voorkeur-
posities.

Info/RDS: indrukken om de informatie in
de onderste regel van de display te wijzigen.

Automatisch Afstemmen: in de DAB
functie worden alle lokale zenders automatisch
gescand wanneer op deze toets wordt gedrukt.
Om alle beschikbare zenders te scannen drukt u
deze toets drie seconden in tot
AUTOSCAN
FULL
in de display

verschijnt.

Scrollen: Druk op L om naar zenders op
een lagere frequentie, of op
K om naar zen-
ders op een hogere frequentie te gaan. Wordt
afgestemd op een zender met voldoende signaal
dan geeft de Display

TUNED
aan. Door
kort in te drukken gaat u stap voor stap met
handafstemming verder, door vast te houden
wordt automatisch de volgende zender gezocht
met voldoende signaal voor acceptabele ont-
vangst (Auto Tune Functie). Deze toetsen kiezen
ook de instelling van andere menu’s, zoals de
Afstemring
)
op de voorzijde.

Functie/FM Functie: in de DAB functie
kan met deze toets de volgorde van de zenders
worden ingesteld, het stoorniveau, de voorkeur-
posities, software versie, Dynamic Rate Control,
of de handafstemming. In FM kiest u met deze
toets stereo of mono bij het afstemmen. In ste-
reo verschijnt
STEREO
in de Display

,en
schakelt het apparaat op stereo over wanneer
een zender een stereosignaal uitzendt. In mono
worden de linker en rechter signalen bij elkaar
opgeteld wat aanzienlijk minder ruis geeft. Kies
MONO
wanneer zwakke signalen worden
ontvangen.

Afstembereik: indrukken om te kiezen
tussen DAB, FM en MG ontvangstbereiken.

Functiekeuze: In FM of MG kiest u hier-
mee tussen Auto Tune (automatisch afstemmen),
Manual Tune (handafstemming) of Preset Tune
(voorkeurposities).

Geheugen: druk op deze toets om de
geheugen positie waarop een zender wordt
opgeslagen te openen. Er kunnen 10 DAB
zenders worden opgeslagen, naast 30 FM en
30 MG zenders. Zie pagina 9 voor nadere infor-
matie over voorkeurposities.
