Requirements
You have read chapter “For your safety” on
page GB-4 and understand all the safety
notices.
The exhaust hood has been assembled as
described in chapter “Assembly” on page
GB-11.
Activated charcoal filter
When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
For the source of supply, please see
chapter “Our Service Centre” on page
GB-22.
To insert “Replace activated charcoal filter
(only applies to circulation air operation)”
on page GB-19.

Blower
The blower of your exhaust hood has three
settings.
1. You can start the exhaust hood on the de-
sired blower setting with the buttons (17)
(lowest), (18) (medium) or (19)
(highest).
2. When the blower is already in operation,
you can use the buttons (17) , (18)
or (19) to change the blower setting.
3. To switch off the blower, press the button
(16) 0.
Switching on the lighting
Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights. The lighting can be switched on or off
independently of the fans.
1. Press button (20)
to switch on the light-
ing.
2. Press button (20) again to switch off
the lighting.
Tips on saving energy
Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
Clean the grease filter regularly.
