5. Reconnect the mains supply.

Installing/replacing the

activated charcoal filter (only

for circulation air operation)

The coal filters remove odours.

They have to be replaced as soon as the

cooking odours can no longer be adequately

filtered. If used frequently, the filters should

be changed regularly (check approx. every

6 months).

1. Unplug the mains plug or switch off the

power to the corresponding main fuse.

2. Push the locking mechanism of the

grease filter 17 to the back and careful-

ly remove the grease filter by pulling it

downwards.

3. Rotate the locking mechanisms 20 of the

old coal filter 18 and remove the filter.

You can dispose of it with the household

waste.

4. Insert the new carbon filter 18 so that

the recess 19 on the carbon filter points

towards the cable 21 exiting the exhaust

hood’s interior.

5. Turn the locking mechanisms 20 of the

carbon filter in front of the filter.

6. Insert the grease filter 17 by placing the

back end in the recess below in the ex-

haust hood. Slide the lock backwards,

hinge the grease filter upwards to close it,

and release the lock again.

7. Reconnect the power supply.

Changing the LED

If one of the LEDs ceases to work, it must

be changed by an authorised service tech-

nician. Contact our service team as required

(see page GB-18).
