Requirements
You have read the chapter entitled see
„Safety“ on page EN-4.
The exhaust hood is assembled as de-
scribed in chapter „Assembly“ from page
EN-12.
Activated charcoal filter
When using the appliance for air circula-
tion, only do so with activated charcoal
filters inserted.
If neighbours complain about odours, it
may be a good idea to insert activated
charcoal filters for exhaust air operation,
too.
For the source of supply, please see
chapter „Our Service Centre“ on page
EN-21.

ed charcoal filters“ on page EN-18.
Switching the lighting on
Your exhaust hood is equipped with two LED
lights on the underside. The lighting can be
switched on or off independently of the fans.
To switch the lighting on or off, press the (19)
button.
Switching appliance on/off
To switch the appliance
on, tap the sensor (22)
.
The fan will start, and the display (20) will
show the current fan level.

The fan will switch off and the display will
go out.
Changing the fan setting
You can select between fan levels 1, 2 and 3.
In order to change the fan level, tap the
sensor (21)

Timer function
The timer function ensures that the fan
switches off automatically after running for 9
minutes. To switch the function
on, tap on the sensor (18) .
The display will show
9
and will count the
time down. After 9 minutes have elapsed,
the fan will switch off.

.The display now once again shows the
current fan level.
Tips on saving energy
Only switch on the fan when needed; oth-
erwise, energy will be wasted.
Let the fan run as long as cooking fumes
or steam are present.
The fan is not needed when cooking only
briefly or warming up foods that have lit-
tle or no odour.
Ensure that there is enough supply air; oth-
erwise, the exhaust hood may not function
optimally. If necessary, open the window or
kitchen door.
Clean the grease filters (15) regularly.
