Risk of damage!

If the refrigerating appliance has been

transported horizontally, lubricant from

the compressor may make its way into

the cooling circuit.

■ Transport the appliance only in a ver-

tical position.

■ Allow the refrigerating appliance to

stand upright for 2 hours before start-

up. The lubricant will ﬂ ow back into

the compressor during this time.

Improper handling of the appliance

can lead to property damage.

■ Do not use the door to pull or lift the

appliance.

■ The appliance must only be placed

on a level and ﬁ rm surface. The sur-

face must be strong enough to sup-

port the appliance’s weight when ful-

ly laden.

■ Do not use sharp or pointed objects

to unpack it.

■ When unpacking the appliance, nev-

er damage the insulation material on

the back of the appliance.

■ Do not use any electrical parts inside

the appliance’s cooling chamber that

do not conform to the manufactur-

er’s recommended design.

■ Do not use any mechanical devices or

means other than those recommend-

ed by the manufacturer.

■ Defrost the appliance in a time-

ly manner before it forms a layer of

ice and frost of more than 5mm. Ex-

cessive ice formation increases pow-

er consumption, the drawers become

difﬁ cult to open and the door may

not close completely.

■ Do not use any mechanical devic-

es or materials to accelerate the de-

frosting procedure other than those

recommended by the manufacturer.

For example, do not use any electric

heating equipment, knives or devices

with a naked ﬂ ame, such as a candle.

– Never use harsh, granular, soda,

– Use only soft cloths for cleaning.
