Contact our TECHNICAL SERVICE. Only parts cor-
responding to the original appliance specifications may
be used for repairs. This freezer contains electrical and
mechanical parts that are essential for protection against
potential sources of danger. If you carry out repairs to the

defective freezer yourself.
Do not operate the freezer with an external timer or
separate telecontrol system.
Never immerse the mains cord or mains plug in water
or in any other liquids.
Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
The freezer complies with protection class 1. Only
connect the freezer to a properly installed socket. Con-
necting the appliance to a socket strip or multi-plug is
not permitted, and can potentially result in fire.
Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the
mains cord; instead, always do so by taking hold of
the mains plug itself.
Keep the freezer, mains plug and mains cord away
from open flames and hot surfaces.
When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply
cord is not trapped or damaged.
Do not locate multiple portable socket- outlets or port-
able power supplies at the rear of the appliance.
Lay the mains cord out in such a way that it does not
pose a tripping hazard.
Do not kink the mains cord and do not lay it over sharp
edges. This can result in a break in the cable.
