WARNING

Risk of suffocation!

Children can become entangled in the

packaging ﬁ lm or swallow small parts

and suffocate.

■ Do not allow children to play with the

packaging ﬁ lm.

■ Prevent children from pulling small

parts from the appliance or taking

them out of the accessory bag and

putting them in their mouths.

Risk of electric shock!

The appliance works with 230 V~/50 Hz

mains voltage. Touching live parts may

result in severe injury or death

■ Only use the appliance indoors. Do

not use in wet rooms or in the rain.

■ Do not operate or continue to oper-

ate the appliance if

– it shows visible signs of damage,

e.g. the power cord is defective.

– it starts smoking or there is a smell

of burning.

– it makes unusual sounds.

In such events, remove the mains

plug from the socket and contact our

service department (see chapter „Ser-

vice“ on pageEN-33).

■ The appliance corresponds to protec-

tion class 1 and may only be plugged

into a socket with a properly installed

protective conductor. Connecting the

device to a socket strip or multi-plug

is not permitted and may result in ﬁ re.

■ Do not kink or pinch the mains cable

or lay it over sharp edges. This can re-

sult in a break in the cable.

■ If the mains plug is no longer acces-

sible after installation, an all-pole dis-

connecting device complying with

overvoltage category III must be

connected to the house wiring with a

contact gap of at least 3 mm; this in-

cludes fuses, circuit breakers and con-

tactors.

■ If the mains cable of the appliance is

damaged, it must be replaced by the

manufacturer, the customer service

department or a similarly qualiﬁ ed

person in order to prevent hazards.

CAUTION

■ The appliance is heavy and bulky.

Seek the help of another person when

moving the appliance.

■ Do not use the cooking chamber door

and cooking chamber compartment

as a step or for support.

Fire hazard!

Improper handling of the microwave

may result in damage or cause a ﬁ re.

Heat trapped inside the appliance may

shorten its service life.

■ Ensure sufﬁ cient ventilation. Do not

cover the vents, for example with

oven gloves or cookery books!

■ When installing the appliance, follow

the dimension speciﬁ cations for ven-

tilation.

■ Never remove the adjustable feet.

■ Make sure there is adequate ventila-

tion. Do not cover the vents, for ex-

ample with oven gloves or cookery

books.

■ When setting up the appliance, en-

sure that the minimum safety dis-

tances speciﬁ ed in the user manual

are maintained.
