Take care to prevent the risk of trip-
ping when laying the mains cord.
The device, mains plug and cable
should be kept away from naked
ame and hot surfaces.
Do not kink or pinch the mains cord
or lay it over sharp edges. This may
cause the cable to break and/or cause
damage to the insulation.
If the mains cord of the appliance is
damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, through customer ser-
vice or by a qualifi ed specialist.
Do not put any objects in or through
the housing openings, and also make
sure that children cannot insert any
objects in them.
When unplugging at the mains, al-
ways pull on the plug itself and not
the cable.
Never touch the mains plug with wet
hands.
Never immerse the mains cord or plug
in water or any other liquids.
In the event of any defect, or when
cleaning and servicing, please unplug
from the mains.
Inspections and repairs to the appli-
ance may only be carried out by au-
thorised specialists, e.g. our Service
department (see „Service“ on page
GB-28). Damage to property or per-
sonal injury can result from undertak-
ing repairs to the device yourself, and
no warranty or guarantee claims may
be asserted in this case. Never try to
repair a defective or suspected defec-
tive appliance yourself.
Only parts corresponding to the orig-
inal appliance specifi cations may be
used for repairs. This appliance con-
tains electrical and mechanical parts
which are essential for protection
against potential sources of danger.
Microwave hazard!
Microwaves can be emitted if the door
is insuffi ciently sealed when closed. Un-
der such circumstances, the device may
not be used.
Pay particular attention to the clean-
liness of the door seals and door seal
faces along with all adjacent parts.
Do not operate the device when the
door is broken or damaged or the
viewing window, the door lock, the
hinges or the cooking chamber or the
door seals are defective, or if the door
cannot be closed tightly for any oth-
er reason. Any such repairs may only
be undertaken by a qualifi ed profes-
sional.
It is hazardous for anyone – with the
exception of a qualifi ed professional
– to undertake any form of servicing
or repair work which necessitates the
removal of the cover, which is there
to protect against radiation as a re-
sult of microwave energy being emit-
ted.
Danger of explosion!
The inappropriate use of the device can
lead to damage or cause an explosion.
Never place a mixture of water and
oil or fat into the device. It may oth-
erwise explode.
Health hazard!
The inappropriate use of this device can
lead to damage to your health.
